mondaytofriday.com is dedicated to making your working week that little bit easier. mondaytofriday.com began life as a way for landlords, with spare rooms, to reach potential lodgers, who were looking to beat the daily commute by renting out a room from Monday through Friday.

Our services have expended since – not only can you advertise or search for rooms for lodging through mondaytofriday.com, but we also offer specific event lodgings through our landlords, such as for the Olympics.

We set up mondaytofriday.com because we were also fed up with soulless hotel rooms and endless hours of commuting to work. We wanted a “home from home” for the working week, but still wanted to go back to our homes and families at the weekend.

Our ideal was to rent a room between Monday and Friday and yet finding that flexibility proved difficult.

As a result of spending so much time away from home on weekends, our founder, Judy Niner, rented out a room in her own home to a lodger during the week, and rented a room in Central London to be nearer to her work.

In line with the Government’s “Rent-a-Room” scheme, she was able to earn up to £4,250 tax-free income, with the bonus of reclaiming her home and privacy every weekend, when her lodger returned home.

So Judy’s idea evolved into mondaytofriday.com, an online weekday property rental service for homeowners and lodgers!

Since then, we’ve expanded into all sorts of other areas, all focused on making your working week that little easier.
