Do you want to rent out a room but don’t feel confident to add the details yourself? Or perhaps you know someone who doesn’t have web access but would like to advertise a room on mondaytofriday. Alternatively, you may want a room but don't have internet access. If so, you can use our 'mondaytofriday by phone' service.

As part of mondaytofriday, it is now possible to email or post details through to us and we will add a room for you or a friend your requirements for a room and then contact you with potential lodgers or rooms.

Simply send a cheque made payable to 'mondaytofriday Ltd' for £39.95 to be listed as a lodger or owner for three months (be sure to write your name and phone number on the back of your cheque) to:

If you are a potential owner, mondaytofriday requires the following information which you can either post through to us with the cheque or email separately to info@mondaytofriday.com:

Homeowner's details

Your name, address and, most importantly, your phone number

The room

  1. City or County the room is located in (eg. London, Surrey, Oxfordshire)
  2. Area or Town (eg, Clapham, Reading, Fallowfield)
  3. Postcode of the property
  4. Type of Property - is it a flat or house?
  5. The number of people the lodger will be sharing the property with.
  6. Bedroom Size - Give an estimate of the size of the room.
  7. Bathroom - Does the lodger have a shared bathroom, an en-suite bathroom or their own separate bathroom?
  8. Use of Kitchen - Does the lodger have use of the kitchen?
  9. Use of Sitting Room - Does the lodger have use of the sitting room?
  10. Use of Garden / Courtyard / Balcony - Is there a garden?
  11. Other facilities and things a lodger might like to know about regarding the property, local area etc
  12. Nearest Railway or tube stations - describe any train, tube or bus stations close by.
  13. Parking - What parking is there? Off-road, garage, residential or none.
  14. Smoking Property - Comment on whether smoking is permitted.
  15. Accepted Gender of lodger - Say whether you prefer male, female or either gender of lodger.
  16. Rent per Month - How much will you be charging each month? As a guide, you want to charge in the region of 60-70% of the weekly rate in your area.

Your room requirements

  1. The City or County you wish the room to be located in.
  2. The Town or Area in the city where you would like to be. (Optional)
  3. Whether you are male or female.
  4. Do you need to be in a smoking property? (Optional)
  5. Do you require parking? (Optional)
  6. What is the maximum rent you want to pay?

 

Mondaytofridaying is a great solution. Those of us who've done it swear by it.
