Ideal for medical staff or other professional who needs quiet place to stay but has weekends and holidays with family. You will be sharing with a professional woman who works in central London. The house is three storeys, late Victorian, yet fully updated to include modern bathrooms, central heating, etc, Includes wireless broadband and tv/radio outlets in all rooms. The rent includes utility bills and cleaning. This is a Monday – Friday letting, with possibilities for occasional weekend use by negotiation. The room is on the first floor, tastefully decorated, with writing desk and office chair, and armchair, very comfortable double bed, wardrobe space and is peaceful and quiet, overlooking pretty private gardens and woods to rear of house. All linen, bedding and towels provided. On the ground floor there are two spacious reception rooms, a plasma TV with Virgin package including catch-up viewing, cloak cupboard, bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen (fridge/freezer, dishwasher, coffee machine, electric oven, gas hob, microwave/grill, and washing machine) with breakfast table & chairs. The dining room leads onto a patio with 80-feet landscaped garden and woods beyond. There is secure shelter for a bike. You will have choice of two bathrooms (shared), one downstairs and the other on the first floor (power showers and mirrors/storage). Superb transport links for central London from Highgate tube station (12 minutes to Euston). Walking distance to Whittington Hospital. The A406 and M1 are both around 5-10 minutes’ drive, even at peak times. Local green spaces include Highgate Wood and Queen’s Wood (both just two minutes’ walk) and Hampstead Heath. The historic Highgate Village with its many relaxed and period pubs, bars, fringe theatre, convenient shops and restaurants are all within a few minutes’ walk. A stroll across the bucolic expanse of Hampstead Heath takes you to the chic shops, historic and cultural ambience of Hampstead Village. We are looking for a week night lodger, a professional who is tidy, considerate and keen to live in this wonderful part of North London.
