Lovely double room in beautiful 1935's house. Available now. The room is fully furnished with a new bed and bed linen. the room includes a double wardrobe, shelving, a chest of drawers/dressing table and a desk. A shared shower room is adjacent to the bedroom and you will have shared use of the kitchen and laundry facilities. There is an outdoor communal area with a garden table and chairs.
All utilities, council tax, and Wi-Fi are included in the rent. Tea and coffee will be provided, along with bed linen and towels. the room is cleaned once a week which includes a change of bed linen and towels.
Please note this is for adult single occupancy, and not suitable for those who work from home.
This is a position for someone who is working away from home in the day but returns each evening 5 nights a week (Sunday to Thursday or Monday to Friday)
We work in the film industry which means we often work away from home, returning at the weekend, so at times you will have the house to yourself.
There is a bus stop positioned at the end of the road which has 4 services;
Bus service 273 towards Petts Wood, with stops for Lewisham , Hither Green , Lee , St Mary Cray and Petts Wood railway stations.
Service I61 towards North Greenwich with stops for Mottingham, Woolwich Arsenal, Woolwich and North Greenage railway stations
Service 638 runs from Addington Road/Glebe Way to Kemnal Technology College has stops for Hayes, Bromley South and Grove Park railway stations
Elmstead Woods railway station is a 15-20 minute walk from the house.
There is also a night service N136 from Oxford Circus Station to Chislehurst War Memorial which stops at Oakdene Avenue
Chislehurst is a beautiful green town with a number of woodlands, Elmstead Woods being the closest (a 10 minute walk away) and a recreational park located at the end of the road. Both the Woods and the park are accessible via a safe pedestrian footpath. Chislehurst also has an array of restaurants in the High Street if cooking isn't your thing. There is also a host of unique boutique shops and cafes, a late night beauty salon, CO-OP and Sainsburys. All facilities are a fifteen minute walk away.
