Contemporary Loft Room in Character Cottage
Large, stylish, and bright double loft room with contemporary ensuite bathroom.
The airy, peaceful room is located in the attic of a quirky, urban cottage in green and leafy Shooters Hill. Set in a secluded location, within a conservation zone, the 200-year-old home is steeped in local history and charm.
The room has panoramic views over Central London, including Blackheath, Canary Wharf, and the London Eye.
Stylish shower room and WC for your private/sole use. Shared use of kitchen.
You are welcome to use the back courtyard garden.
If you are a cyclist, there is secure storage for your bike.
If you are following a hybrid pattern of work and need a place for 2-3 nights per week, I am open to discussion.
Central London is easily accessed by local public transport. There are options of the Elizabeth Line, DLR, overground trains, or Thames Clipper boats from Woolwich Arsenal, all accessed by a 10 min bus ride on the 244.
Alternatively, there are direct buses to Blackheath (89) or North Greenwich (486).
Blackheath, Falconwood, and Eltham are local overground stations within easy reach.
The cottage is located in Shooters Hill, close to the historic Red Lion Pub. Parking for the property is in the car park shared with the pub, or on Shooters Hill. Right opposite lie the ancient Oxleas Woods, close to the romantic Severndroog Castle.
There is a small shop next door and a letterbox right outside.
Part of the beauty of this area is the elevated position, so it benefits from panoramic views across London.
Set within the Royal Borough of Greenwich, Blackheath, and Maritime Greenwich are both on the doorstep. Shops and supermarkets can be found at Woolwich, Blackheath Standard, and Welling.
