Description

Available from 8 Nov

It is a gorgeous double bedroom with large wardrobe and storage space in a 2 bedroom apartment  and zone 1 location.
There is a separate large private bathroom for you with bath and shower, although it's not an ensuite. I have my own bathroom.

The flat is a beautiful top-floor almost-new apartment with a private terrace overlooking South West London. From the bedroom you can see out to Nine Elms, Vauxhall Tower and the MI6 Building on the Thames Embankment. From the corridor of the building you can see Westminster Palace and Waterloo.
The kitchen/living room are open plan and there is a dining table and chairs. The kitchen is really cosy and fun to cook in, there is a nutribullet and other amenities.
This room is Monday-Friday only.

- About the location -
It is located 1 minute's walk from Kennington Tube station (currently zone 2, about to be expanded into Zone 1) on the Northern Line.
This room would be perfect for someone with a busy London lifestyle during the week as it never takes more than 25 mins to get anywhere central as the flat is so close to the tube.
Kennington is served by BOTH branches of the Northern line northbound (same as Euston) as well as southbound, and there is shortly due a 4th direction towards Nine Elms.
From Kennington it is 1 stop to Waterloo, 3 stops to London Bridge and about 20 mins to Kings Cross or Euston.
The apartment is very close to a cluster of local shops, a Tesco, cash point, pharmacy, doctors' surgery, off license, laundrette and a couple of nice pubs with terraces and outdoor spaces.
Kennington Park is 5 mins walk away and it's around 25 minutes' walk to the Thames bankside (Embankment/Vauxhall).
Kennington is nice as it's quiet and has a 'villagey' feel yet it is so central.

- About me /My ideal flatmate -
I'm open-minded, creative, liberal, adventurous and curious. I'm a professional who works hard and cares about their job but who likes to let their hair down at the weekend.
The flat is LGBTQ+ friendly; I'm pretty open minded about most things and alternative lifestyles, although I'm looking for peace and quiet during the week.
During the week I have quite a set routine, up early for work, then home and either gym, out to meet friends or back home and chilling. I tend to live quietly during the week and do most of my socialising at the weekend. I'm into current affairs, reading, writing, cooking, electronic music, fitness (yoga; climbing), travelling, and creative expression.
I also have subscriptions to the Economist, New Statesman and Spectator which I'd be happy to share. There is good coffee in the flat and I eat healthily most of the time.
In terms of tidiness I would say I'm clean and tidy, but I don't mind leaving a plate out by the sink for one night for example. I'm looking for someone who is overall clean and tidy but not completely anal about it. I don't want a cigarette smoker or anyone who smokes weed.
I'd like to meet someone who I can get on with and who is fairly easy going so we can have a chat and catch up every now and then. If you'd be interested in the flat please write me a detailed message about you, your lifestyle, what an average weekday looks like for you and your personality.

- Finer details -
The rent is £1100pcm for 1 calendar month paid by 1st of every month. This includes all bills and wifi.
The deposit is £1000pcm also due before the 1st rent.
The Monday-Friday situation would most likely be you leaving Friday afternoon/early evening and returning early evening on Sunday, but we can discuss the small print.
The tenancy is minimum 1 month. and for now maximum 6 months, but if we get on well there is a potential to extend.
I'm looking to meet someone for at least a coffee or some time to get to know them as a person rather than a quick view of the flat and that's it.

Move in is 8th November, viewings from now.
