Description

The house is in Heronsgate (a previous Chartist settlement) on the outskirts of leafy Chorleywood. It is a detached property with good sized open plan living spaces downstairs. There is off street parking.

The room has a double bed, with double aspect views over the garden and drive way, and a lovely window seat. There is a wardrobe and chest of drawers as well as shelving.

We are in a very quiet residential neighbourhood down narrow privately owned lanes.

The beautiful large garden backs directly on to fields with footpaths down to local quiet secluded woods.  Locally Chorleywood has shops, restaurants and cafes. There are plenty of pubs in the area offering real ales (The Land of Liberty) and fine food in others.

We are a family of 4, with 2 young children (7 and 9yo) who are out at school during the day and around in the evenings. There would be shared use of kitchen and bathroom and there is 1 cat.

We would be happy to consider short term visitors.

Transport nearby

Chorleywood station has a large car park and gives fast links to London via the Metropolitan or Chiltern line. The Met line is 30 mins to Finchley Road at commuter times, and Chiltern is 30mins to Marylebone.

Junction 17of M25 is 3 minutes away and affords fast links onto the motorway network - M40, M1 all very near. We are also close to Amersham, Berkhamstead, Watford, and Warner brothers and Pinewood Studios.
