I'm looking for a flatmate for my two bedroom apartment on the Southbank. The building is just a few minutes from Waterloo station and opposite the Royal Festival Hall. There is a gym, pool and 24hr concierge, as well as a free parking space in the garage. I'm looking for someone quiet and respectful.

Large, fully furnished double room in a stunning two bed apartment right on the south bank. Apartment is on the first floor of a lift serviced, elegant apartment complex. Apartment includes modern bathroom and kitchen, complete with washing machine and dishwasher. There is no communal living room.

The building has a private spa (gym, pool, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi) and garage (with private parking space). The property is in an excellent location, directly behind the festival hall, overlooking the IMAX and private garden. 1 minute walk from Waterloo station, riverbank and Jubilee Gardens/London Eye. Access to numerous restaurants and attractions (including quality food market every Friday-Sunday). Short walking distance to Covent Garden and Trafalgar Square.

To share with one guy who occupies the other bedroom. He is quiet, relaxed and friendly.

Northern Line, Bakerloo Line, Jubilee Line, Waterloo and City Line are a 2 minute walk away. Waterloo overground station is also one of London's main stations for travel out of London, with trains to all parts of the country leaving frequently.

Waterloo is also a docking point for the river boat, with regular journeys to and from Greenwich (with it's famous market and park) and Canary Wharf (London's impressive, high rise, financial epicentre). The views alone are worth a trip.


The Royal Festival Hall, Royal National Theatre, Hayward Gallery and British Film Institute are all right on your doorstep on the south bank. The Tate Modern is 8 minute walk along the riverbank, and the Globe Theatre just beyond that (a 12 minute walk from the apartment). A short (4/5 minute) walk through the immaculate new Jubilee Gardens and you are at The London Eye, the London Aquarium just beyond that. The West End with its museums, opera houses and numerous theatres, is a pleasant 10 minute walk over the river. The National Gallery in Trafalgar Square is an 8 minute walk over the river, with The National Portrait Gallery just beside it.

Although Waterloo is linked to all the best tube lines for getting around London quickly and easily, places like Leicester Square, Piccadilly and Regent Street are all walking distance. Walking along the riverbank affords you a stunning walk with wonderful London views to places like St Pauls (10 minutes) and London Bridge (18 minutes).


The apartment is minutes walk from numerous restaurants and bars lining the south bank (including the best of fine dining at the exquisite Skylon, with breathtaking views of the river). Soho and Covent Garden, with every varietal of restaurant you could ask for, are just a short away.


There is a 24 hour convenience store just 2 minutes walk away. Every Friday-Sunday there is a quality food market directly in front of the apartment building. A pedestrian bridge is the first thing you come to when you reach the river, and just beyond that is The Strand, with numerous practical shops as well as West End theatres, and Covent Garden, with its numerous fashion stores and its famous square with boutique shops and stunning market (opera singers frequently perform). All of these provide a great day out and you will be spoilt for choice with artisan coffee shops, restaurants and independent art and fashion boutiques as well as fine dining and organic produce.

Transport nearby

The flat is 5 minutes walk from Waterloo station, which is a major railway hub with great links across London. There are also plenty of buses that are easily accessible. Being so central it's also easy to walk to a lot of places.

The flat is right at the heart of the Southbank, within a stones throw from the National Theatre, the Royal Festival Hall, the Hayward Gallery and the London Eye. The British Film Institute is located nearby and so it the BFI Imax Cinema. The walk along the river is delightful and you can get to the West End in no time at all.
