Description

Your room is a bright and airy back bedroom overlooking our yard and, further out, our garden. The walls have all been painted white and I havent put any pictures up yet (you can pick some from my stack or bring your own).  It is a double bedroom with built in wardrobe and a tall chest of drawers.  There is room for more furniture too if you need it, an armchair by the window maybe, or perhaps a bookshelf for your books, or both?

The house is a 125 year old mid terrace on a road that has zero through traffic, even the road leading on to ours only carries on to a couple of streets past ours.

You are 6 mins walk from Reddish North train station, which is 8 mins train ride to Manchester Picadilly. Plenty of parking out the front on the road as there are only about ten houses on our road. The 230 bus is 5mins away and goes straight into Manchester Picadilly Gardens. I've only taken it to town in the evenings - which takes around 15/20 mins. I imagine it would take twice that at rush hour, so perhaps 30/40 mins.

We're nearly finished doing the house up so you will see a few things like skirting boards that need painting etc. We'll be doing this slowly at weedends on and off so it shouldn't affect you ever.

We have a cat called Tulip who is affectionate. My partner likes dogs so we may get a puppy in the future but that is just speculative.

Shared bathroom with a separate bath and shower.

Describe your neighbourhood here

We are a 5min walk away from a long stretch of corner shops, Asda, take aways, and everything inbetween (dyson speciallist shop anyone?!) which is Reddish North. A little further south is Reddish proper which has pretty mush the same stuff with a few resturants thrown in, a couple of which are quite well liked in south Manchester. We have a reasonably sizes park really close by and then there is a massive park a little further north beside my gym (pure gym as its the closest)

Having lived in the city for so long I gravitate towards Manchester itself if I want to go out to a pub quiz or something midweek but my partner is from Stockport, which is about the same distance away from the house so we've been going there more recently for a quick drink and the pubs are really lovely there.
