A large double room with your own bathroom and Kitchenette is available for you on a Monday to Friday lodging basis, in a period house on a quite gated estate. The room is fully equipped with King-size double bed, desk /dressing table, comfy chair, hanging space, drawers, TV etc. The bathroom is next door, off your own private corridor, and for your own private use, with a bath with power shower & cupboard space. There is a kitchenette for your sole use with oven, hob, microwave, fridge, toaster and crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils etc. You will share the utility area with house owner and it has a washing machine, tumble dryer and drying facilities. There is an airing cupboard allocated for your sole use.
The owner lives in the other part of the house. There is a living room for your exclusive use in the evenings which has a TV and a balcony. A second living room is used by the owner.
There is off street parking on the driveway to the house with an allocated space for you. The house has a large garden and is in a quiet location surrounded by country side but close to Burnham Village High Street. It is within easy reach of both Taplow and Burnham Stations, the M4 and the M40. It is about 1 mile from the top end of Slough Trading Estate.
The owner is the sole occupier of the house and there is plenty of room for solitude, although the owner is not adverse to a shared glass of wine at the end of a busy working day.
There is a local gym within walking distance, a library and plenty of footpaths through the woods and great cycle routes. There are also 7 pubs in, or close to, Burnham High Street, all within walking distance that serve food and offer quiz nights and other activities.
All bills are included in the price per month including Wi-Fi.
M4 junction 7 -3 mins; M40 Beaconsfield junction - 10 mins away. Trains from Burnham and Taplow to Paddington = 30 mins - will be faster when Elizabeth Line fully operational. Reading 25 mins.
7 pubs and restaurants within walking distance. Local gym, country footpaths; walks along the Thames, cycle routes, horse riding. Superstores - Sainsbury's and Tesco's 2 mins drive away.
