Hello! I am a professional female offering a Monday to Friday let for a house in Montpelier, Bristol to a professional or postgraduate woman.
I am a designer and artist working from home and have a daughter at art college and a small, well-behaved and friendly dog who both live here too!

The room currently has a single bed, but this can be also be made up into a double bed - depending on your preference for floor space vs bed space!

There is shared access to the rest of the house, including lounge, dining/work area and smart tv within the living area and a quiet garden with decked area to enjoy.

I would need someone who appreciates a clean house, especially the shared kitchen and bathroom areas.

I am not vegetarian but eat clean, healthy food and very occasionally some fish/free-range chicken, so vegetarians are preferred.

Shared access to the house comprises:
• large lounge/dining room
• well-equipped kitchen
• family bathroom
• utility room
• second toilet downstairs

There is off-road parking and bicycles can be stored in the garage.

Facilities include dishwasher, washing machine, widescreen smart tv and fast internet.

All utilities and broadband included.

The location is great for Central Bristol (Cabot Circus 10 min walk) and close to the M32. Montpelier train station is a 5 minute walk.
There are plenty of fabulous places to eat only a few minutes walk away in Montpelier or Stokes Croft, and local shops include the award-winning BetterFood organic shop and cafe.

References will be required, this is a non-smoking family home.


Transport nearby

Montpelier is well served by transport links; local train (5 minute walk) & buses (2 minute walk) - and the nearby city centre itself is a short walk away. If you are travelling by car, we are only a couple of roads from the M32 junction and have off-road parking on the driveway for 2 cars (invaluable within a Resident's Parking Area!). We have storage space for bicycles in the garage.

Montpelier is near to both Bristol city centre and Stokes Croft with all the amenities that these provide in the way of transport, eating, drinking, shopping, culture etc. There are numerous restaurants, cafes, takeouts, juice bars, an organic food co-operative and even a brewery within a 5 minute walk - and the newly reopened Star and Garter pub is at the end of the road. Montpelier has a bit of a 'hipster village' reputation, there being many creatives and young families in this lively community. There is a small park at the end of the road and larger parks within a short walk at St. Andrews or Eastville.
