Large comfortable studio room with well equipped mini-kitchen (sole use) and (sole use also) en-suite shower room. The room is comfortably furnished, with a double bed (for single occupation) and there is ample storage space. Quiet and bright, with large windows overlooking the back garden of our semi-detached house. Blackout curtains. The room is on the second (top) floor, approached through the main house. We are elderly, caring and educated hosts who live a quiet life in fairly slow motion! But we enjoy the company of others, and we make our 'guests' very welcome. We now, alas, have no pets, and we are a strictly non-smoking household. Please contact owner for current car parking details. A bicycle may be stored safely in rear garden by arrangement with the owner. 


Transport nearby

Wimbledon Main Line station and District Line, and Tram service, is a ten minute walk from our home. The Bus route 200 stops opposite our house, about 3 minutes to the town, 5 mins to Colliers Wood tube station in other direction(Northern Line), and the following roads are within easy access - A250 (South Circular), A24, A3, M25. There is also a network of footpaths, and a pleasant stroll along the River Wandle.

Our house is on a pleasant residential road ten minute walk to Wimbledon town centre, which is a prosperous town, with cinemas and a famous theatre, a shopping mall "Centre Court", and more excellent shops, restaurants and pubs. Wimbledon Common is a vast natural area, Wimbledon Park is a large recreational area with various playing fields, and South Park Gardens is a ten minute walk towards the town centre. St George's Hospital, Blackshaw Road, is a short drive away.
