Single room in quiet tree-lined residential street in Brixton
A compact single room in a second-floor flat in a Victorian house on a quiet, tree-lined, residential street. Comfortable bed, storage, clothes-hanging rail, basket-chair and table (if you have other requirements, let us know and we will try to help). The flat has high-speed broadband, sheets and towels are provided. There’s a kitchen/dining room that serves as a sociable space. The household includes two arts professionals and a lively dog who our previously lodger found delightful.
It’s 10 minutes walk to Brixton tube and rail, and 15 minutes to Clapham North; a good bus network runs from the end of the road. It’s an especially good location for someone commuting weekly from Kent or Sussex: trains from the south east connect via Orpington/Bromley South to Brixton overground, saving a journey into central London.
The centre of Brixton has a great atmosphere, with excellent restaurants, cafes and pubs, a wonderful market, and a great five-screen cinema. For warm summer evenings, there’s a large park about 15 minutes away.
