We live in an idyllic country location near a train station that is 40mins into London, a 45min drive to Heathrow and close to junction 6 of the M40.  We are looking for someone (or a couple) to stay in a converted ancillary barn with its own private entrance during their working week.  It has underfloor heating throughout, a fully fitted kitchen, bathroom and a kingsize bed in a character-filled sleeping loft.  There are also two further 'day' beds in the main living area used for both lounging around and sleeping if you wish, and a stylish chesterfield-style sofa.  The barn sits near the main house in almost two acres of gardens in a very quiet hamlet in a no-through-road.  There is also use of a gym next to the accommodation and parking for one car.

Transport nearby

Princes Risborough station is a five minute drive away and trains into London Marylebone take an average of around 40 minutes... and you can always get a seat at rush hour before it gets too busy. Heathrow Airport is just 45 minutes drive away, Luton Airport around 1hr and getting onto the M40 at junctions 4, 5 or 6 is quick. There are lots of bus services available from Princes Risborough, Thame and many other local places to get to pretty much anywhere!
