Bright and quiet first floor double-bedroom with ensuite bathroom in a recently refurbished contemporary-style 4 bedroom townhouse in a private gated development in the heart of Thames Ditton village.

The Room: The comfortable room includes: ample wardrobe space; own TV (streamed channels from indoor aerial); Hypnos double divan bed; Hans Gröhe shower and bath fittings; and a slimline desk (plus  USB-A and USB-C charger) with chair.  

Parking: One car space is available. 

Cycle Storage:  If requested, I can happily lend you a fob to my garage (with an electrically-operated overhead door), so you would be most welcome to store your bicycle in the garage each day, and then come in to the house through the back door. Also, should you wish, I could find space to store your bicycle (depending on its size) in the garage over the weekend.

Availability: 2 to 4 nights/ week. 

The price quoted (£675/month) is for 4 nights/ week. 

Happy to reduce the monthly price if fewer than 4 nights/week are preferable.

Transport nearby

TRANSPORT
Thames Ditton Railway Station (just 0.3 mile) with travel to Hampton Court (3 mins), Surbiton (5 mins), Wimbledon (17 mins), Clapham Junction (23 mins), Vauxhall (30 mins) and Waterloo (32 mins) is provided by South-West Railways.

Access to Heathrow Airport (8.9 miles) by car, or an alternative (which I haven't yet tried) is now also provided by Tfl's Superloop SL7 bus service, which runs 24/7 about every 15 minutes from Broad Street, Teddington (4.9 miles) to Heathrow (about 30 mins) for £1.75, as at March, 2024.

Thames Ditton is a charming North Surrey riverside village on the border with South-West London, with ample local amenities very close-by. 

AMENITIES
Within the village (all within just 0.2 mile) there are 3 pubs (all serving food), 3 restaurants (Thai, Indian and Chinese), 4 cafés, 2 convenience stores and a variety of other shops (including an award winning greengrocer, and a bicycle repair shop), and other shops and services. St. Nicholas Church (0.1 mile) is a 900 year old building mentioned in the Doomsday Book, with an attractive interior and is open during the week. 

LEISURE
Popular nearby pursuits include visiting the fantastic open spaces and diverse wildlife of Bushey Park (2.0 miles), renting a boat on the river at Taggs Boatyard (0.2 miles) or shopping in Kingston-Upon-Thames (2.4 miles). There are several nearby gyms, the closest being Colets Health Club (https://www.coletshealthclub.co.uk) (0.2 miles). Cycling is popular along the river from Hampton Court Palace (1.4 miles) to, for example, Kingston-Upon-Thames bridge.
