Description
We have a beautiful, large Edwardian house in one of the most prestigious streets in Fulham. Interior design is one of Chris and my passions, and our home reflects it, blending a contemporary style whilst retaining many of the original features of a house of this age. Chris and I have lived abroad in various countries and travelled extensively - you can see this expressed in our furniture and photographs we've collected across our experiences. We believe that's what makes a house, a home and somewhere special.
Your large double bedroom is at the top of our house, on its own floor, so you have your own space exclusive to you.
There is a great view from your window across the rooftops of West London. We have designed the feel of your bedroom so it is very comfortable, luxurious with an 'original twist,' We've hand-picked the soft furnishings (for example, fluffy cushions and a luxurious throw) so it has a genuine feeling of 'home away from home.' Plus all our furniture is new. Your spacious bathroom has a strong, powerful shower, with everything you need to get started for your day. In addition to the main central heating, there a small electric heater if you need. As a given we have strong WIFI, so you can stream your entertainment in the evening or do a touch of work (if needed!). There is space for you to leave some of your personal things over the weekend - to save the hassle of packing up everything on a Friday morning.
The bedroom and bathroom are both thoroughly cleaned weekly, and we change the bedlinen and towels every two weeks.
You have access to a large, open-plan kitchen in the morning and evening, with your own fridge and microwave to use.
Our house is within a 10-minute walk of Parsons Green and Fulham Broadway tube stations, plus there are numerous bus routes if you prefer that way to get to work. Close by there are some lovely, original London pubs and individual restaurants to grab a meal, when you fancy an evening out.
The room is ONLY AVAILABLE on a 'MONDAY TO FRIDAY' basis. People generally come on a Monday evening, but if occasionally you need to come on Sunday evening for an early morning meeting on Monday that's fine.
The District Line (10-minute walk) goes from either Parsons Green or Fulham Broadway stations, with direct access to the West End, City and Paddington Station. Four bus routes (each a 4-minute walk) take you to different areas of the West End. There is even an Uber Ferry to the City from Putney Pier! Heathrow is a 25-minute Uber ride.
A beautiful London neighbourhood with various shops for buying food for dinner. Plus there are plenty of London pubs and little restaurants for a chilled evening. You can grab a coffee and pastry from one of the many independent coffee shops en route to the tube. Bishops Park which is by the River Thames is just at the end of our street - great if you're a runner or just want a quiet walk.
